The Role

Aligning with Coronis’ expansion goals we are opening a new Hub on the Gold Coast and are looking for a Leader who has the ability and willingness to grow a start-up business in Real Estate.  As Hub Director you will be responsible for the daily management of the Hub, your team’s results, and strategic business direction for your geographical region (Gold Coast Region). You need to be a motivated and enthusiastic person who is capable of building a team and mentoring each person with-in that team to achieve their career goals. Your primary responsibilities will consist of but not limited to;

  • Actively recruit new talent to grow each Hub department.
  • Have a willingness to actively sell property yourself for a period of time
  • Setting comprehensive goals for the Sales Team and actively lead each agent to achieve the collective goal.
  • Oversee the Hub’s Property Management team and assist the property managers to implement new growth strategies.
  • Fostering a strong team culture within the office and building profitable referral partnerships between the departments
  • Actively manage the Hub’s business expenses to deliver cost effective and efficient operations including profit & loss statements, revenue targets and forecasting
  • Report weekly to the Chief Operating Officer and provide ongoing input into the over-arching strategic direction of the business.
  • Manage relationships with all external partners and service providers.
  • Manages risk and conducts regular environmental scans /forecasts to ensure financial viability of the Hub while looking for new opportunities.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you need to have a proven history of growing a team with a strong performance mindset and culture.  You do not need to have experience in the Real Estate Industry however you need to be excited by the challenge of growing a new business and, if from outside the Real Estate Industry, you need to enthusiastically learn all things Real Estate.  At times you will be hands on and should not be afraid of getting in the trenches with your team to achieve results. You are strategic in your thinking, have a positive outlook and enjoy a challenge but remain flexible and willing to pivot and adapt to changing markets and conditions. Additionally, you will have the following experience.

  • A proven ability and examples of building teams from the ground up and leading the performance of those teams
  • A proven ability and examples of increasing revenue and profit in businesses
  • A proven ability and examples of leading individuals to reaching their professional objectives.
  • A proven ability and examples of developing a fun, dynamic and flexible culture in an office environment.
  • Five years’ experience in a similar role in senior management
  • A current Queensland drivers’ licence and a current Real Estate Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)  
  • A real estate background managing teams across Sales and Property Management is not essential but would be an advantage as would knowledge of the Real Estate Sales Process and the Property Management industry
